Katherine Olmstead began her career as an interior designer and colour consultant. After moving to the Georgian Bay region, Katherine saw a need in her community for boat upholstery and custom marine covers and tops. In 2020 she purchased an existing marine top company and launched Ship Shape Sewing. Today, she is kept busy year round, servicing the boating community and local marinas.

Katherine was great to work with as she used our existing mooring cover for our 19 foot Lund as a template for a new mooring cover. The result was better than expected. She was a little hesitant working from the existing mooring cover without having access to our boat (which was in storage) but the final result is a testament to her skills and capabilities.
